After-school Cooking Club

This session promotes healthy eating with children aged between 5 and 12 years

Cooking Club is a great way for children to get busy in the kitchen, learn new skills and think about their healthy lifestyles with the new friends they will make. As well as looking after the garden the children in the summer also go foraging on Wormwood Scrubs for edible fruits and make their own jam.

During the summer months, children have the opportunity to help grow plants and vegetables in the Community Garden at the centre. The session run by Lydia, also uses food from the Bubble & Squeak surplus food project.

When: Every Wednesday (term-time only)
Time: 4 – 5.30 pm
